About Me

I always knew photography was a passion of mine, and someday I would make this dream a reality. My journey as a photographer started long ago as a little girl and will continue for the rest of my life. I remember sitting in my parents' backyard on a warm Toronto summer evening, attempting to capture the dusk light shining through the trees before it slipped into the night.

After studying dance, and training classically for 12 years I can confidently label myself as a professional dancer and choreographer. With photography, it hasn't been that simple. Photography has been a passion of mine for nearly just as long as I've been dancing, but everything I know about it has come from my own curiosity. I have no formal degree or certification in photography, I am entirely self-taught.

My goal as a photographer is to integrate my years of dance knowledge with photography. Dance has taught me discipline, self-motivation, and how to access my creativity after all options have been exhausted. I intend to apply these same skills to my photography.

Although the journey I have chosen as an artist will not be easy, I'm ready to take a leap of faith into this next chapter of my life.
